Acne
Are you interested in participating in a clinical trial for
acne? Eligible volunteers must be 12 or older with facial
acne vulgaris, characterized by at least five facial inflammatory
or non-inflammatory lesions. Female candidates may not be
pregnant and must practice a reliable method of contraception
throughout the study.

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD -
Pediatric)
Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. is conducting a clinical research
study for children 6-12 with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD). The study will test the safety, tolerability
and effectiveness of an investigational dosage of dexmethylphenidate
HCl extended-release capsules, an already approved drug for
ADHD. Children may not be home-schooled, or have a history
of seizures, high blood pressure, or heart problems.

Huntington's Disease
North Shore University Hospital is conducting a study to
determine the safety, tolerability, and dosage of an experimental
drug in people with Huntington's disease. Volunteers must
be 18 and be able to walk, and will be excluded from participation
if they are pregnant or breastfeeding, have evidence of unstable
medical illness, clinically significant heart disease or lung
disease, or have had an active peptic ulcer within 90 days
of study start. Other criteria apply.
The research site is in Manhasset, N.Y.
